Welcome to our Whiteboard. This one is a bit like the whiteboards around our Tetra Pak offices – full!
Wondering what it’s all about? Well, it seems that you are really quite interested in the packages that your wine, juice, milk and even tomatoes and pulses come in. Our sustainability website is packed to the brim with information about the great environmental story of your Tetra Pak cartons, but our whiteboard is the place to find out the really juicy details. It’s bursting with everything from our blog, to the latest hot gossip, fun things people have done with their cartons, what we are working on and a chance to stick your own oar in.
Have a look around. See what you can find. Like most whiteboards, there is so much stuff on here, sometimes even we are surprised by the things we find!
Our planet’s natural resources are under great pressure. We all need to use more responsibly managed materials that can sustain our demand for the long term - which is where choosing renewable comes in! Renewable resources are natural resources that, if looked after properly, can be managed so that the resources we consume are replaced at the same rate or faster.
Tetra Pak cartons are made from 73% wood fibre – which starts life as trees - a natural, renewable resource! Tetra Pak supports WWF’s responsible forestry programme, helping wildlife and communities prosper and protecting some of the world’s most endangered species, like the Persian leopard.
You can help too, visit www.renewableidea.co.uk to get involved - pledge to choose renewable or play Tree-Vital Pursuits to add points to our donation counter and generate donations from Tetra Pak to WWF-UK! There are also some great prizes to be won every fortnight!
