Caring For The Community Being a responsible business means more than looking after the environment, it is about caring for people as well. From making sure that we provide an environment in which our employees can flourish to working with community projects on a local and global level, we endeavour to be a positive influence on society.
Our Local Community
As part of our aim to be a good corporate citizen, Tetra Pak has been working with Business in the Community (BITC) for the past three years. As part of this, we are part of BITC’s Care’s program – the main business-led volunteering program in the UK.
In 2007, over 70 Tetra Pak employees worked together with the local Wrexham Child Health Centre to create two enclosed play areas for the children.
As a step to help students in our local community grow, we also offer practical work experience to a number of year 10 students on a placement basis each year. Click here to find out more.
